11. Cherry Clafoutis

Back when this recipe was first made, the cherry pits were left in the dish. The pits would give an almond-like flavor when baked. We took the pits out and added almond extract.

12. Mini Brioche à Tête

For individually-sized brioche loaves, opt for the Mini Brioche à Tête. They’re perfect for breakfast. We like to pluck the têtes off and scoop spoons of frozen granita, seasonal jam, or hazelnut spread, such as Nutella, in the remaining brioche.

13. Nejla’s Yogurt Dessert

This dessert is Nejla’s modification to revani, a syrupy sponge cake found throughout Turkey. She’s omitted the gritty semolina flour found in most revani, to yield a softer, spongier version that absorbs more of the sugar syrup.

14. Bacon Cheddar Poppy Seed Muffins

This cheesy, bacon-filled muffin will satisfy all of your savory breakfast cravings.  A drizzle of maple syrup pushes this solidly into the breakfast Hall-of-Fame.

15. Citrus Tartlets

Topped with an orange blossom honey meringue, these citrus tartlets are small in size and big in flavor. A quick hit of a blowtorch toasts up the meringue, imitating the caramelized flavor of a campfire marshmallow.
