  1. While I would be hard pressed to call any of your BFS issues a favorite, surely this month’s Irish issue is a top contender. The recipes you chose to include are wonderful-every one, the plethora of brilliantly researched information, tips, references, historical information, and absolute beautiful and extensive photography are beyond stellar. Among the very talented bakers you selected to showcase, I am particularly pleased to see one of my personal favorites, Gemma Stafford, included in this volume. I have her book (almost signed but for Covid and a cancelled Pie Fair), follow her BBB site and delight in her Irish-to-the-core presentations. Clearly, who can navigate through these beautiful pages and not at last plan a trip to Ireland as soon as the world returns to “normal”? You have opened a lot of doors with this issue. Kudos to this wonderful project and to an outstanding editor and staff.

  2. This was the BEST issue I’ve ever read – my friend and I had to cancel our Ireland vacation this year due to Covid-19. Having this issue to flip through was the second best thing! Wonderful.
