Spiced Streusel
Makes about 1⅓ cups
  • ½ cup (63 grams) all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup (73 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons (42 grams) cold unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch cubes
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Using your fingers, cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Crumble and clump with your hands until desired consistency is reached. Refrigerate until ready to use.
