Vanilla Filling
 
Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (227 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups (480 grams) confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (6 grams) vanilla bean paste
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter at medium speed until creamy, 5 to 6 minutes. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, beating until combined. Add vanilla bean paste and salt, beating until smooth.
