Heilala Vanilla is a New Zealand-based vanilla producer that grows organic vanilla beans of unparalleled quality on their family-owned and -operated vanilla plantation in the Kingdom of Tonga. The company was founded by New Zealand’s Ross family in 2002 as an aid project to support Tonga through the family’s vanilla bean plantation following severe cyclone damages. Heilala’s vanilla is now used in some of the top restaurants and bakeries in the United States, including Eleven Madison Park, Gramercy Tavern, Ovenly, and Flora Bar.
