Lookin’ Sharp: Our Best Cheesy Baked Goods

Our Best Cheesy Baked Goods

Give your cheese board a rest and include some of your favorite wedges in your baking. The right cheese can lend savory and creamy notes to everything from biscuits to brioche to muffins. Featuring baked goods with Cheddar, Parmesan, Brie, and more, these recipes will make any cheese-lover melt.

  1. Brie en Croute

Brie En Croute is a twist on baked Brie—a cocktail party classic—is best served warm straight from the oven. We used the Moses Sleeper cheese from Jasper Hill Farm in Vermont for its buttery, yet clean, flavor.

2. Parmesan Gouda Fantails

The nutty flavor of Gouda pairs well with the pilsner and yeast in this recipe, but you can easily swap Muenster, Edam, or Monterey Jack cheeses in place of the Gouda, if desired.

Camembert Straws

3. Camembert Straws

Soft and creamy, Camembert is a surface-ripened cow’s milk cheese with a thin edible rind. It was first made in the late 1700s in Camembert, Normandy, in northern France. For this recipe, we used the earthy Hervé Mons Camembert, a cheese that’s delicately salty and smooth.

Breakfast Braid sliced on parchment

4. Breakfast Braid

As they say, presentation is everything, and this Breakfast Braid delivers brunch-time wow. We wrapped some of our favorite breakfast foods like eggs (sunny side up!), ham, and cheese in a to-die-for homemade pizza dough.

  1. How do I pull up saved recipes? Apparently I needed to create two accounts – one for Yumtime (?) and the other for Bake! When signing in I’m told there is no account for my email. I just did this – at least twice and appeared to save several recipes.
