Nostalgic Baked Goods

Rainbow Sprinkle Bread

6. Rainbow Sprinkle Bread with Birthday Crumb Topping

Kevin Masse (from feedfeed) shared this much-loved explosion of Birthday cake fun and flavor. Baked in a loaf pan like banana bread, this Rainbow Sprinkle Bread will bring to life all the flavors you remember from childhood birthday parties

Classic Pound Cake

7. Classic Pound Cake

Dense and decadent, this elegant yet simple Classic Pound Cake recipe transforms butter, flour, and sugar into slices of perfection.

New York Cheese Cake

8. New York Style Cheesecake

Create a homespun version of the Big Apple’s signature dessert made with cream cheese, sour cream and heavy cream, along with fresh eggs, lemon, vanilla, and a little sugar, all in a graham cracker crust.

Classic Cinnamon Rolls

9. Classic Cinnamon Rolls

The stickier, the better with this timeless treat. One of our favorite comfort foods, the recipe originated in Sweden, where they actually observe a Cinnamon Roll Day (Kanelbullens dag) on October 4, but we recommend celebrating these rolls every chance you get.

10. Washington Cherry Pie

Nothing compares to fresh cherry pie. This Washington Cherry Pie is simple and classic, sure to become a staple on your summer to-do list. This pie uses the recipe for Our Favorite Piecrust.

11. Coconut Almond Marble Chiffon Cake

A candy bar inspired our modern—and even more indulgent—makeover of the classic chiffon. We piled on coconut, almond, and chocolate for flavors reminiscent of an Almond Joy. Coconut oil, subbed in for the canola oil, adds depth and nuttiness without sacrificing the cake’s texture.

  1. All of these look really good to eat. I’ll for sure have to find a place by me that offers them. Of the ones you listed here, I would love to try the caramelized banana bread. It’s one that I haven’t had in who knows how long so I think I’m due to try it again.
