Description
A tower mould made by the infamous “Benham & Froud”. They made the famous cross on the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral in 1921 and they could see it from their shop in London which is why their makers mark is an orb and cross. This mould features a detailed tower pattern. these sorts of moulds were used to make gelatin desserts, blancmange or cakes to adorn a lavish feast table. They were popular during the victorian era 1837-1901. C.1880
