Ingredients
- 2½ ounces Highlands Eggnog (recipe follows)
- 1½ ounces bourbon
- Garnish: fresh grated nutmeg
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Highlands Eggnog and bourbon. Shake to combine, and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with nutmeg, if desired.

Highlands Eggnog

Makes about 7 cups
Ingredients
- 6 large very fresh farm eggs
- 1 cup (210 grams) sugar
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Garnish: fresh grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Carefully separate egg yolks from whites; refrigerate egg whites.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together yolks and sugar until smooth. Slowly whisk in milk and cream. Set aside.
- In another medium bowl, whisk egg whites until two-thirds of mixture is frothy. Stir frothy mixture into yolk mixture. Discard remaining one-third egg whites mixture.
- Garnish with nutmeg, if desired. Store sealed in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Shake jar before mixing cocktails.
